About us
What if meeting new people didn't have to mean networking, small talk, or trying to be "on"?
Santa Fe Connection + Curiosity Lab (SFCCL) is a community for people who enjoy thoughtful conversation, interesting experiences, nature, creativity, and exploring how we see ourselves, other people, and the world around us.
Some gatherings happen outside. Some may happen over tea, around a table, in a creative space, or somewhere unexpected. We might take an unhurried walk, experiment with perception, notice something we've passed a hundred times, play with perspective, spend a few minutes with nothing to accomplish, or have one surprisingly good conversation with someone we just met.
Some gatherings are simply about noticing, conversation, and being together. Others may take the form of a Curiosity Lab, exploring and experiencing a particular human question around creativity, uncertainty, life transitions, or how we make sense of our experience.
Each gathering stands on its own. You never need to attend one before another.
The point isn't to fix yourself, reach the “right” insight, or turn every experience into self-improvement.
It's to create interesting conditions for noticing, conversation, curiosity, and connection—and see what happens from there.
What you can expect:
Events may include simple sensory-awareness practices, gentle movement, nature, creative or perception experiments, meaningful conversation, quiet time, playful shifts in perspective, and opportunities to meet people without the pressure of traditional social events.
You never have to disclose personal information, participate in an exercise you don't want to do, or be good at meditation.
No forced vulnerability.
No networking pitches.
No pressure to perform.
No pressure to share your life story.
Just thoughtful, low-pressure experiences created for slowing down, noticing more, meeting interesting people, and connecting a little differently.
Gatherings may take different forms over time — from small community events and Curiosity Labs to creative, nature-based, or more immersive experiences.
The format may grow over time, but the intention will stay simple: creating thoughtful ways to become curious, connect, and experience something a little differently.
Come curious.
Adults of all ages are welcome. Each event description will include details about pace, terrain, accessibility, and what to expect.
SFCCL launched in early September 2026 and is growing slowly and intentionally, one small gathering at a time.
