Microdosing Hike: Nature Immersion + Microdose (BYO microdose)
Details
Welcome to our Nature Immersion + Microdose in Northern New Mexico!
If you love connecting with nature, quieting your mind & opening your heart, and finding peace in the great outdoors then we encourage you to join us as we explore our connection to the more-than-human world through our awareness of our senses. This is such a special experience and we are pleased to share this time of presence with you.🌿
~~We have determined a location! We'll meet at the Big Tesuque Campground, up on the Santa Fe ski mountain. Please arrive 15 minutes early to find parking and complete the waiver.~~
~~This will not be a long or strenuous hike, as the nature immersion is a slower paced meditative exploration.~~
~~Microdosing is not required, although encouraged if it's the right thing for you on that day. For those who would like to microdose during the hike, please come prepared with a true micro dose that works for you. None will be provided on-site, although dosing guidance will be shared if needed.~~
~~BYO☺️🍄~~
Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, smells, and heart-sense of nature as we rejuvenate our bodies, minds, and spirits together. This practice has many names: Forest bathing (or Shinrin-yoku in Japanese), Forest Therapy, Nature Walk, or Nature Immersion. No matter what you call it, the idea is the same; allowing ourselves to align with Nature & remember what it feels like to be nature again.
Let's embrace the healing power of the forest & other nature environments as Narayan Gwin, a Certified Forest Therapy Guide by the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides and Programs, and Gina Devani, a Board Certified Holistic Counselor and Psychedelic Integration Guide & Mentor, invite us to explore our deep connection to ourselves, each other, and the expansive beauty of the natural world around us.
During this immersion you will be invited to explore the forest with your senses and to be aware of your connection to all the nature around you. Periodically you will have a chance to share what you are noticing with the group. With a bit of guidance this experience is about listening to what the natural world wants to share with you.
This immersion + microdose will be at 1pm on Sunday October 19th at the Big Tesuque Campground trailhead. *Please arrive 15 minutes early to find parking and to fill out a waiver. This event lasts between 2 ½ to 3 hours, depending on attendance. Here are some things you will need for this event: plenty of water, supportive shoes for hiking, layers to be prepared for differing weather (including rain, although there's no rain in Sunday's forecast), a light portable chair (one that you can carry with you) OR blanket to sit on, and you may want to bring a snack.
At the end of the immersion we will gather again for a closing tea ceremony. We will provide a light snack to share, along with wild-harvested tea from our hike. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
We will see you there!
