An Invitation to Our May 2026 Community Meeting...
A quick note before we get into the details: while we’ve been pleased to offer SFPS gatherings at no cost over the past year, we’ve now begun fundraising to support additional venues and expanded educational offerings.

We’ll have a basket available at our meetings for voluntary donations of any amount. Your support helps sustain and grow this work, and we’re truly grateful. Venmo is also available for those traveling light.

About our next meeting: Ask a Psychedelic Elder
Join us for a special evening where we'll have a rare opportunity to sit in the presence of a few who have walked the path of psychedelic care and practice, ceremonial presence, healing, and consciousness exploration for many decades.

These elders carry lived wisdom shaped through long relationships with plant medicines and sacred substances, dedicated inner work, community, and the unfolding mystery of consciousness. Their voices reflect years of experience, integration, and careful listening within ceremonial and contemplative spaces.

This gathering also arrives in a moment of passage within the greater elder community, honoring the absence of a beloved teacher whose presence helped shape the history of this field. In that spirit, the evening holds a quiet honoring of lineage, continuity, and the responsibility of carrying wisdom forward with care.

In this intimate setting, a small panel of local elders will share reflections, stories, and wisdom. There will be space to ask sincere questions about practice, ceremony, healing, ethics, and the lifelong unfolding of working with psychedelics in a grounded and respectful way.

This evening invites a spirit of reverence, curiosity, and presence. It is a chance to receive insight, to listen across generations, and to deepen one’s own relationship to this work with care, humility, and awareness.

We welcome you to join us with an open heart and thoughtful attention.

The New Mexico Department of Health Medical Psilocybin Program is excited to be able to assist the Medical Psilocybin Advisory Board in their announcement for the launch of the Medical Psilocybin Advisory Board Committees. We are grateful for your interest to provide your knowledge and expertise on the committee(s) which will guide and inform the program in the delivery of services.

Individuals do not need to apply to be on these committees, they only need to attend to participate. People are not limited to being on one committee and are welcome to join as many of the committee meetings as they are interested in attending; however, please note, you must register in advance.

REQUEST: Hey everyone! We're going to need a bigger location soon. Ideally, we will find a space willing to donate vs. rent. But we'll consider various options, so please connect us with your beloved beautiful space (that would welcome our topic)! We are now offering extended learning workshops. Please send me your burning interests and pitches for the workshops. And let me know if you have any connections or great ideas about a beautiful indoor venue that can hold 50+ people comfortably. (Thanks to those of you who have been offering suggestions!!)
