🌄 Twin Peaks Sunset Urban Hike | Noe Valley

We will explore one of San Francisco’s most iconic urban hikes — starting from the heart of Noe Valley, climbing through hidden stairways, quiet hillside neighborhoods, and panoramic ridgelines to the summit of Twin Peaks.

### Meetup Location

Meet at front entrance of Noe Valley / Sally Brunn Branch Library, 451 Jersey St, San Francisco, CA 94114.

### Time

• Meetup: 3:00 PM
• Start hiking: ~3:10 PM
• Expected finish: ~8:00 PM

### Route

We will head west and gradually climb through some of San Francisco’s classic stairway routes and hillside streets toward Twin Peaks.
At the top, expect sweeping 360° views of San Francisco, the Bay, Mount Diablo, downtown skyline, Sutro Tower, and a vibrant sunset.
Twin Peaks rises to roughly 922 feet and is known for dramatic evening light.

### Difficulty

Moderate urban hike.
Expect:

• Steep hills and stair climbing
• Approximately 4–6 miles total depending on route variations
• Up to 1200' elevation gain & descent
• Wind exposure near the summit

This is an exploratory scenic hike for workout and fitness.

Twin Peaks can become surprisingly cold and windy even when lower neighborhoods feel warm.

San Francisco’s hidden stairways and ridge walks are some of the city’s greatest treasures. This hike combines neighborhoods, nature, skyline views, and exploration into one compact adventure.
