STOP 1) MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK

( FEE AREA - it was $12 last time I was there, or get there 10 minutes earlier to park on the corner of Mulholland and Las Virgenes / Malibu Canyon

( 40 minute drive from Santa Monica )

We'll be hiking 4 1/2 miles ROUND-TRIP to the MASH filming site. Slight elevation gain. GREAT FOR BEGINNERS!!!

STOP 2) PARAMOUNT RANCH BANJO / FIDDLE FEST

We'll caravan to Paramount Ranch where they filmed "Little House On The Prairie", "Dr Quinn Medicine Woman", and "Northern Exposure" and of course... "about a gillion other movies" $FREE parking... admission $23

FROM Santa Monica travel NORTH on PCH approx 12 miles. Make a RIGHT on Malibu Canyon Road. (just before Pepperdine University) Approx 6 miles up the road, make a LEFT turn into Malibu Creek State Park. Fee is approx $12. We're at the back of the SECOND parking lot on the left, approx 4/10 mile from the entrance
