🌻🌸🌼 MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK - 4 1/2 mile hike /dinner at The Stand AFTER🍕

🌸🌼🌻🌺~4 1/2 mile HIKE then 🍸 🍹 🍾 DINNER AFTERWARDS at The Stand 🍕🌮

MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK is where they filmed MASH, "Planet of the Apes" and a gazillion other movies...

• START TIME: We usually have a 15 minutes grace period, but please try to arrive early due to parking.
• HIKE TYPE: This Hike is like a BOW TIE with a bunch of trails pieced together. If you're late and do not know this hike, it will be difficult to help you find us.
• DISTANCE: ~4.5 miles
• ELEVATION: ~ 100 ft elevation gain.
• PARKING: PARKING FEE AREA - $12 - Lower Lot - Google Maps Link
• FREE PARKING: Or get there 15 minutes earlier to park on the corner of Mulholland &Las Virgenes & walk into the park to the LOWER LOT.
• MORE FREE PARKING: California public library-card holders can check out the California State Library Parks Pass via their local public library. See link for details!
• WHERE TO FIND US: Look for the group of people next the Restrooms at the "Lower Lot" next to the Malbu Creek Trailhead, next to the bathrooms.
• RESTROOMS: Flush Toilets at Trailhead.
• DOGS: Malibu Creek State Park is a pet-friendly recreation area that preserves the Malibu Creek Canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the park's day-use areas and campgrounds but not on the trails or dirt tracks. LINK for DETAILS
• WHAT TO BRING: BRING 2-3 LITERS OF WATER, A HAT, SUNSCREEN, COMFORTABLE SHOES, SNACKS, WARM CLOTHES, MITTENS OR GLOVES, LIGHT JACKET.
• CELL SERVICE: 📞 very few bars.
• SUNSET: 5:40 PM
• ALL TRAILS: None. This is a bunch of trails pieced together to make a longer hike.

• DIRECTIONS from Santa Monica : PCH is CLOSED, take 405 to 101. We're at the back of the LAST parking lot on the left, approx 1/2 mile from the entrance.
