💦💦 GROTTO WATERFALLS 👣 6 MILE HIKE 🌮 SAGEBRUSH FOOD/DRINK/DANCE 💃

🌵 The GROTTO winds through plush vegetation and down the canyon where there is a series of 3 small WATERFALLS (disclaimer: may be dry, but still a cool place to checkout) and a small CAVE. There WILL be some easy rock scrambling involved. 🌵

• Approx 900 foot elevation drop (yay!) and then we climb back up (boo!)
• MODERATE hike
• APPROX 3 1/2 HOURS
• We will take a group photo and head out at 2:30pm, back around 5:30-6pm.
• Bring a snack for our stop at the bottom (about 20 min)

✅ THERE WILL BE SOME EASY ROCK SCRAMBLING!!!! ✅

Starting a little later than usual to beat the heat.

The PARKING LOT is the same lot we use for the Sandstone Peak hike.
Parking is free, no permit required.

From the corner of PCH and Yerba Buena... APPROX 6 miles up the hill; PASS the Ranger Station at Circle X Ranch... and go APPROX an additional 1.5 miles to the parking lot on the LEFT.

SORRY... NO DOGS past the grotto... (you'ld still be able to do 80% of the hike).

There is a bathroom at the trailhead.

We'll be going to Sagebrush Cantina for cool drinks, food and music/dancing after the hike. Skin Deep is playing: "Their tight musicianship and raw energy make them a must-see for any rock purist. Get ready to relive the golden era of rock with every note". DJ music at 7.
PARKING is free on the street, $7 in the lot.

• Plenty of Water - like 2-3 liters. It will be warm. Put some ice in it.
• A hat and sunscreen.
• Shoes with good grip.
• Snacks.
