Sunset at Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park 🌞

This is a hike to Mt. Hollywood on the Bill Eckert Trail, Vista Del Valle Drive and the North trail.

-Distance is 6 miles round trip.
-Elevation gain 1100 feet.
-Medium pace and medium difficulty.

Meet at the staircase on the north end of Merry-Go-Round parking lot-2. (Map pin leads to this spot) We will leave at 5:20 sharp. It will take a little over an hour to get to the peak. We will hang out at Mount Hollywood taking in the fabulous view of the city and the sunset over the Hollywood sign enjoying conversations and snacks with our hiking friends.
We will then hike back down the same way we came up. We will be back to the parking lot by about 8:30PM.

Bring Along:
-Hiking shoes
-At least 1 liter water, preferably 2.
-Flashlight.
-Snack for the summit.
-Camera thingy in your phone thingy.
