Sunday Funday!! Hummingbird trail through the tunnel and on to the Swing Cave!

Let's go exploring some amazing caves, grand views, and geological formations! We will head up to the swing cave with a stop on the way to a tunnel cave we can crawl through. Then meeting after hike at Finneys crafthouse in Porter Ranch. Shout out to Rex for discovering this hike!

• START TIME: We usually have a 15 minutes grace period, but please try to arrive early due to parking there may be a short walk to the trail.
• The hike should take approx 3.5 hours, with some time in the middle to eat a snack.
• HIKE TYPE: out and back lollipop
  DISTANCE: It's approx. 3.5 miles
• ELEVATION: ~ ft 1000 elevation gain

DIFFICULTY

• Trails - Moderate hard, but everyone's fitness level is different.
• Hummingbird Cave is a roughly 200-300 foot cave that involves plenty of scrambling and a tight 15–20 foot squeeze section with a few drop-downs. A headlamp is strongly recommended so you can keep your hands free.
• The Cave Swing requires scrambling down a cliffside using an aircraft cable installed by an unknown person.
• Both activities can be dangerous and are completely optional. They’re fun and doable, but be honest about your limits—you are responsible for your own safety.

• RESTROOMS: There are NO Restrooms at the trail head, so please use facilities prior to meeting up.
• DOGS: 🦮DOGS ON LEASH OKAY!
• WHAT TO BRING: BRING 2-3 LITERS OF WATER, headlamp or flashlights!A HAT, SUNSCREEN, COMFORTABLE SHOES, SNACKS, WARM CLOTHES, MITTENS OR GLOVES, LIGHT JACKET.
