Details
๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ YAAAYYYYY!!!!!!! After the Rain Hike. ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ป
๐ผ๐ป MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK ๐ผ๐ป
DESCRIPTION: We're going to do a variation on the traditional MASH hike. We will not be going to the MASH site. Mostly flat with little elevation. If someone is unable to do hills, you can by pass them and meet us at the intersections. The bridge has been removed for the season. I scouted the full route Mon, 12/22 and there are still fall colors. Hopefully after the rain, the creek will be filled and beautiful.
START TIME: We usually wait 15 - 20 minutes grace, but please try to arrive early.
DISTANCE: ~4.5 mile
HIKE TYPE: This is a bunch of trails pieced together to form an odd shapped loop. If you miss the group, it might be difficult to find us. Below is a link of the Map on All Trails .
ALLTRAILS: Link
ELEVATION: ~255 feet elevation over the entire hike. We will hike a couple of small hills. If hills are difficult, maybe skip the hills and meet us at the intersection.
DIFFICULTY: Everyone's fitness level and experience is different. For the weekly hiker this would be considered moderate. For a Beginner who has never hiked, the small hills might be a challenge to overcome. Know your own limits. We want everyone to do what is comfortable for them.
RAIN: Heavy Rain Cancels. Light Drizzle, we'll post an update.

*The Rock Store is one of the most famous moto and auto hangouts in the world. Frequented by gearheads as well as celebrities and nice people of all types, the Rock Store is an amazing place to get away from the city without going too far. Located along famous Mulholland Highway halfway between Malibu and Calabasas, it's the perfect place to come by bike or by car for breakfast or lunch and a drink on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
THIS is where they filmed MASH, "Planet of the Apes" and a gazillion other movies...
