😀Sunday Funday😀 - Palos Verdes Hike - Malaga Side/TOMATILLO 🍅for DINNER!

Mixture of Lagoon, Trees, Ocean Views, Urban Walk and Beach walk

• START TIME: We usually have a 15 minutes grace period, but please try to arrive early due to parking.
• HIKE TYPE: This Hike is a LOOP with a bunch of trails pieced together. If you're late and do not know this hike, it will be difficult to help you find us.
• NOTE: The part that goes down to the Beach is slidy in some parts and may require "some people" to crab crawl on their bottoms. But many peole have done it without any issuses. You can by pass that part of the hike by going along the Road and following Google Maps back to the car. You'll miss the Tree Tunnel and the Beach, but everyone follow your heart. :)
• DISTANCE: ~6 miles
• DIFFICULTY: Everyone's feeling of difficulty is different. Maybe a 6.5 to 7 out of 10. We'll get a good work out and beautiful views. There is cell reception and if anyone wants to drop, they can use google maps to navigate their way back to the car. There is some scrambling down to the beach at the end. You can bypass it and go straight to the cars.
• ELEVATION: ~ 700 - 800 ft elevation gain.
• PARKING: Public Parking next to Malaga Cove School

• WHERE TO FIND US: Look for the group of people next Malaga School.
• RESTROOMS: There are NO RESTROOMS at the trail head, so please find/use facilities prior to meeting up.
• DOGS: 🦮DOGS ON LEASH OKAY! Dog friendly hike, except when we get to the beach. No dogs allowed on California State Beaches, but I'll point the way to by pass over the trail.
• WHAT TO BRING: BRING 2-3 LITERS OF WATER, A HAT, SUNSCREEN, COMFORTABLE SHOES WITH GOOD GRIP, SNACKS, WARM CLOTHES, MITTENS OR GLOVES, LIGHT JACKET.
• CELL SERVICE: 📞 Medium good.
• SUNSET: 5:11 PM
• ALL TRAILS: None. This is a bunch of trails pieced together to make a longer hike. I call it Andy's special. :)
