Enjoy a beautiful canyon with 2 waterfalls - Newton Falls at the beginning and the larger Upper Zuma Falls at the end. This is a 5 mile out and back hike with about 700 feet of gain with intermediate difficulty. It is supposed to be warm this weekend so bring PLENTY of water. There are, however, many places along the trail that are shaded and cooler and we will probably stop briefly once or twice to enjoy that shade. No stream crossings but be careful of your footing at the falls.
There is no permit necessary for parking but the lot can get busy. There are 2 alternate parking areas to the north of the trailhead on the left at .25 and .43 miles away. I have included a PHOTO showing the locations.

-We will give a 20 minute grace period for this hike.
