🌸🌼🌻🌺RIVAS CANYON TRAIL / Prima Cocina!!!

It has been 2 years since we hiked RIVAS CANYON TRAIL🌸🌼🌻🌺 to Will Rogers State Park. The trail will not be so shaded, but it will be great to be back again to enjoy the recovering land, lots of fresh air, good fun, and good company.

• DISTANCE: 5.5 miles
• ELEVATION: 977 ft
• MEETING LOCATION: Meet at the Bathrooms and Picnic Bench near the CAMP STORE (all the way at the end of the parking lot)
• FREE PARKING: On Sunset Blvd or on Temescal Canyon Road before entering the park (always check Parking Signs).
• PAID PARKING: Temescal Gateway Park Lot (Last I checked it was $12)
• *****WARNING: This parking area has stop sign cameras. Make sure you come to a complete stop, or they'll mail you a ticket.***
• Restrooms: Flush Restrooms available at the Meeting Location (aka Temescal Canyon Retreat Center)
• DOGS! No dog's allowed in State Parks. We'll be entering Will Rogers State Park: http://parks.ca.gov/?page_id=626
• WHAT TO BRING: BRING 3 LITERS OF WATER, A HAT, SUNSCREEN, COMFORTABLE SHOES, SNACKS, WARM CLOTHES, MITTENS OR GLOVES, LIGHT JACKET
