What we’re about

This group is a badly needed support forum for anybody who is currently going through a separation or divorce, or who has already gone through one. It is designed to share information and experiences about the family law system and its process.

As so many of us know, it can be a very lonely and isolating process, and the secrecy surrounding court judgements and statistics, combined with lengthy delays, makes the entire process much more daunting than it should be.
I can't find any such support group in Dublin, so hopefully this can become a place of solace and enlightenment and, ultimately, positivity about each of our respective futures.
My initial idea is to meet up for coffee/drinks and, if it takes off, we can perhaps go on hiking or other such healthy outings. But, primarily, it's a support group for people to talk about their experiences and pass on advice and perspective. I look forward to as many people as possible coming as there's no point in any of us suffering in silence. And if you're on the other side of this and smiling again, your experience could help others to develop perspective so please come out and meet people.
