About us
Sapphic Weekly ATX is Austin’s weekly lesbian & sapphic social club for queer women, WLW, and anyone in between. We meet every single week at a different LGBTQ+ friendly spot — usually free. We focus on building community and offering a space for Austin sapphics and queer women to meet while also exploring new locations around Austin.
Each event is announced on our Instagram (@sapphicweeklyatx) and our website (sapphicweeklyatx.com) with the details of each event (location, date + time, what to expect, free or cover, etc). The vast majority of events are 21+ (which we specify for each event) and if not, then it is always 18+ regardless (also specified).
Every event has at least 1-2 host(s) present to welcome and greet newcomers. Additionally, we also make a point to mention that anyone coming solo can always find a designated table with a pride flag stand to meet other sapphics seeking connections too.
We function as a rotating "lesbian bar" and provide a safe and fun environment for the Austin sapphic community to meet other queer women while exploring new spots around Austin at the same time.

No agenda, no awkward networking, come solo or bring your friends! Grab a drink, pull up a chair, or just start a conversation. Whether you're new to Austin, looking to make more queer friends, or already know half the room, you're welcome here.
Our weekly events are always newcomer and solo-friendly. Come by yourself, bring your friends, stay for one drink or make a night of it - the whole point is cultivate a safe space for Austin's lesbian, queer & sapphic community.
