The Grackle is a classic East Austin neighborhood spot that pairs a dark, worn-in indoor bar with a huge, relaxed backyard patio. It has a real local feel to it, complete with a massive whiskey list, pool and darts, and old records covering the walls.

No agenda, no awkward networking, come solo or bring your friends! Pull up a chair, order a drink, and just start a conversation. Whether you're new to Austin, looking to make more queer friends, or already know half the room, you're welcome here.

Our sapphic socials are always newcomer and solo-friendly. Come by yourself, bring your friends, stay for one drink or make a night of it — the whole point is to cultivate a safe space for Austin's lesbian, queer & sapphic community.
