Come join us for the 2nd in a new event style we are trying out... Sarasota Wine and Fun "Somme" Series! We have some pretty savvy wine connoisseurs in our group and I have challenged them to put together their own events focused on their personal experiences and elevating our wine palates!

I will be hosting these events in my home. Members must have attended at least three public events to join us. Each event format will be slightly different and tailored to the wine and concept presented. Events will be small and intimate with light bites served to accompany. We will be making a dinner reservation in South Sarasota after this event and I will reach out to attendees individually to gauge interest.

Prepayment of $50 via the methods listed below is required for this event. Refunds will only be issued if a paying waitlister takes your spot.

Next up is me! Not a somme but I have done this tasting before and can't wait to share with others! This is a limited seating event where we will be sitting at the table enjoying our wine and cookies!

The pairings...

Pinot Grigio and Trefoils
The buttery flavor of this cookie pairs perfectly with the soft fruit and mineral notes in the Pinot Grigio.

Unoaked Chardonnay and Lemon Ups
These lemon cookies are balanced by the fruity notes of the unoaked Chardonnay.

Chardonnay and Toffee Tastic
The yummy toffee bits pair perfectly with the vanilla flavors in the Chardonnay.

Merlot and Samoas
The smooth rich caramel, coconut and chocolate are balanced by the rich notes from the Merlot.

Pinot Noir and Tagalongs
Just think peanut butter and jelly!

Cabernet and Thin Mints!
Bold chocolate and mint are accentuated by the bold tannins in the Cabernet.

Wines will not be known before the event. Guests will be seated at a table during the event.
