Calling all card enthusiasts - expert to beginner- who enjoy visiting and playing. This is the last of the easy to learn games.

We will be playing Donut (an easy trump whist game) and Scandinavian whist (an intermediate partner no trump whist game that is easy to learn but takes strategy to be good)

*Please read as there are strict rules. Cards require exact numbers of people/ we have limited space.

1. You must show up on time. 5 min early is best to order.
2. You must order a drink and/or food item to support the business.
3. If you must cancel less than 24 hours before the event text 306-280-2541 with your name and I will cancel you from the event.
4. If you are on the wait list and get moved to going you must contact me ASAP at that number or I will add the next person instead.
5. You must be patient and kind as we all have different skill levels.

Those who break a rule may be removed from future events .

This event is intermediate/expert as the basics of whist (taking tricks) won't be taught. This is because this is a partner bidding game so it is a little too complicated for those new to whist games. Please note Daniel will be teaching as I am gone that weekend so please try not to cancel last minute if you can.

We will be playing Shelem (Persian partner trump whist game with bidding) It isn't hard to pick up as it follows the basics of other trump whist games we've learnt just bidding and scoring is different.

This event is expert as the basics of whist (taking tricks) won't be taught. This is because it will take time to get used to playing this style where the card order and strategy is flexible due to the random chance of the game.

We will be playing 2 player Euchre and 5 player Chaos Euchre. If you've never played Euchre you might want to watch some Euchre videos online as these follow the order of Euchre cards but the strategy is much different.

Open to all skill levels, but you must have attended 1 cards and coffee at Erons this winter. You also must commit to being there from 1-3:45. The rest of the time is optional. There will be a poll posted in the comment section closer to the date to see which games we learnt that you would like to replay. Rules will be at the table if you forget how to play.

12 -1:15 - arrive early to eat, socialize, play pool, shuffleboard or cards and sign up for cards. The earlier you come the better your odds are of signing up for your favourite game.

1:15-2:30- you will play the 1st game you signed up for.

2:30- 3:45 -you will play the 2nd game you signed up for.

3:45 - 5:00 Those that choose to stay will play a 3rd game.

There is no cost to this event EXCEPT you must buy a food AND drink item to support the business who is providing us this great space for FREE. (Parking lot on side, entrance wheelchair accessible and in front of building. Bus route 11) There will be alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks for purchase as well as pub food and snacks. Support local! No outside food and drinks please!
