Open Air Breathwork, Meditation & Lake Walk at Bond Park (free)
Details
Breathe Freely and Reconnect in Nature
We’ll meet on the wide open grassy hill at Fred G. Bond Metro Park — a peaceful, expansive field with sky above and trees surrounding us. This natural bowl of green space gives us room to breathe deeply, move gently, and settle into meditation together.
I will guide approximately 25 minutes of functional breathwork and meditation designed to help you feel grounded, regulated, and present.
Afterward, those who would like to continue are welcome to join a scenic ~2-mile walk around Bond Lake — a beautiful loop with peaceful water views and fresh air.
What to Bring
• A blanket or mat
• Water
• Layers in case the breeze rolls through
• A small backpack for your blanket and water if you plan to join the lake walk
🌦️ Weather Policy
This is an outdoor gathering and is weather-dependent. If there is steady rain, thunderstorms, or unsafe conditions, the event will be canceled. Any weather-related updates will be posted in Meetup at least 2 hours prior to start time.
🤩 Open to All Levels
This gathering is open to all levels. No prior breathwork or meditation experience is necessary. Whether you are brand new or have an established practice, you are welcome.
Parking
Park at the Bond Park Community Center lot (801 High House Rd, Cary). From the lot, walk toward the large open grassy hill near the front of the park. Look for a Satori Minds sign and a small group gathered on blankets.
👶🏼 Children
This is an adult-focused gathering. Children are welcome if they are able to remain relatively quiet and settled during the guided breathwork and meditation. Please consider both your child’s needs and the experience of the group. If typical child movement, play, or vocal expression may disrupt others who are trying to meditate, this may not be the best setting for them. Thank you for helping maintain a respectful and supportive space for everyone.
🐶 Dogs
Dogs are welcome if they are comfortable resting quietly in a group setting. You know your dog and how they may respond in this environment. Because some breathwork includes light tapping with both hands, a hands-free waist leash is strongly recommended.
✨ Continue the Work
If you find this experience supportive and would like to go deeper, I offer:
- Small-group Clarity Breathwork Ceremonies (immersive indoor experiences)
- Private one-on-one breathwork sessions
- Corporate and leadership breathwork workshops
These outdoor gatherings are a gentle introduction. My paid sessions offer a more structured, immersive, and personalized experience.
