Saturday Morning Boardgaming! is designed to take the frustration out of the hobby. We host curated board game events where the lineup is announced in advance, so you know exactly what you’re playing before you even leave the house. No more "analysis paralysis" in the parking lot or settling for a filler game when you wanted something meatier.
Our primary mission is getting those tough-to-table games out and played. Whether it’s a sprawling 4X epic, a complex heavy euro, or a high-player-count legacy title, we provide the structure and the players to finally get your "shelf of shame" favorites into action.

Gamers Guild - North Phoenix, 1818 w Bell Rd , Suite 115, Phoenix, AZ, USIn a game of 23 Knives, you take on the role of a Roman citizen with one of three allegiances: a loyalist to Caesar, a liberator of Rome, or an opportunist biding their time. Throughout the game, you travel through Rome, manipulating other citizens and swaying them to your cause.
At the end of the game, if 23 or more knives are in the Curia, Caesar is dead and the liberator most committed to killing Caesar wins. With fewer than 23 knives, the loyalist most dedicated to saving Caesar wins. Opportunists are those who linger, waiting to shift the fate of Caesar at the last moment, and if they do, they win as a team.

1 to 3 players form squads of Cryptonauts to traverse the Realms of Death, gather Souls to unlock new abilities, battle monsters, survive the hazards of the Realms, steal powerful artifacts, and finally gather enough Knowledge of Death to escape back to Earth - or die trying.Opposing the Cryptonauts, a single player assumes the role of a Goddess of Death and summons monsters, casts Goddess cards, and uses abilities to isolate, cripple, and eventually kill the Cryptonauts invading Her domain - or fail to do so, and watch them escape with Her dark secrets.
