Savannah Stress Reset: Weekly breathwork for stress relief and deeper sleep
3301 Waters, 3301 Waters Avenue, Savannah, GA, USYou've done everything right. You're still tired.
You work out. You sleep eight hours. You've tried the app, the magnesium, the therapy, the cold plunge. And you're still wired at 11 PM with a brain that won't turn off. That's not a discipline problem or a mindset problem. Most of the time it's a breathing mechanics problem — and mechanics are fixable.
Savannah Stress Reset is a weekly 60-minute guided breath training class at the Waters Ave studio. It's bottom-up, not top-down: instead of trying to think your way calm, you use your breathing rate, rhythm, and exhale length to move your nervous system directly. Most people feel the difference inside the first ten minutes.
What happens in the hour
- We take your BOLT score — a simple breath-hold measurement of CO₂ tolerance that gives you a real baseline instead of a vibe. Retest it any week and watch it move.
- A plain-language explanation of the mechanism: why slow nasal breathing and a longer exhale change how you feel, and why the way you breathe all day is driving how you sleep at night.
- Guided practice through a progression of simple breathing exercises — nothing acrobatic, nothing you'll feel silly doing.
- A short home practice you can run tonight in about ten minutes.
What it isn't
No chanting. No sharing circle. No incense, no chakras, no ancient wisdom. You sit or lie down in normal clothes and breathe. If a chakra shows up, ask for your money back.Who it's for
Anyone dealing with everyday stress, poor sleep, brain fog, or that tired-but-wired feeling — especially people who've already tried the soft end of wellness and want a mechanism instead of a mood. Complete beginners are the default here; no prior breathwork experience is expected or needed.Details

Come as you are — comfortable clothes, and yourself. Breath holds and extended exhale work aren't appropriate during pregnancy, or with cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, high blood pressure, or a panic disorder; let Chase know when you arrive and your practice is adjusted. This is breath training, not medical or mental health treatment, and it works alongside your care rather than replacing it.

Meditation Demystified
Forsyth Park, Drayton St & W Gaston Street, Savannah, ga, USThe class for people who tried meditation — and gave up
Most people who 'can't meditate' aren't bad at it. They just learned a method that only works in perfect conditions — quiet room, no thoughts, relaxed schedule, patient teacher.
Real life doesn't look like that.
This class teaches the physiological layer underneath meditation that most instruction skips entirely: how your breath pattern directly controls your nervous system state, and how to use that mechanism to reach deep states of calm — deliberately, reliably, in any environment.
You don't need belief. You don't need silence. You don't need 20 years of practice. You need the right tool, applied with the right timing, in the right sequence. We'll cover:
- The simple progression for reaching deeper states reliably
- How the mechanics of the techniques work — the physiology
- How to use it in 10 minutes at your desk, in your car, or at 2 AM when you can't sleep
Saturdays at 8:30 AM | Forsyth Park, Savannah GA | $20 drop-in
We meet by the tennis courts, under the big old oak treeTaught by Chase Barber, Oxygen Advantage certified breath coach
