Join us for this month’s Real Estate Investor Meetup featuring Bill Russell, owner of Keyrenter Property Management Solutions, local real estate investor, and former law enforcement officer.
Bill’s path to real estate is anything but conventional. After a career in law enforcement, he made the leap into entrepreneurship and property management, opening Keyrenter Property Management Solutions in 2018. Today, he manages a substantial portfolio of rental properties while also owning investment properties himself.
Bill will share his journey into real estate investing, lessons learned as both an investor and property manager, and the realities of owning and managing rental property. We’ll talk about what he has seen work, mistakes investors can avoid, and what landlords should understand about managing rentals successfully.
Whether you own multiple properties, are preparing to buy your first rental, or are simply curious about investing, come ready to learn, ask questions, and connect with other local investors and real estate professionals.
Bill Russell is the owner of Keyrenter Property Management Solutions and a real estate investor in the Waynesboro area. Before entering real estate, Bill spent a decade in law enforcement, beginning with the Waynesboro Police Department and later serving with the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office. In 2018, he followed his entrepreneurial interests and opened his property management business.
Today, Bill combines his experience as a rental property owner with the day-to-day perspective of professionally managing hundreds of rental properties. That combination gives him firsthand insight into the opportunities, challenges, and sometimes unexpected realities of being a landlord and building a rental portfolio.
