About us

Welcome to the Sawdust Socials Beginner Friendly Woodworking Club. If you have ever wanted to learn how to use a saw, drive a screw properly, or just understand how to turn a pile of lumber into something useful, this is the place for you. We started this group to create a low-pressure space where people can learn the basics, ask all those questions that feel silly in a professional shop, and get comfortable with tools in a supportive environment.

We get together to share tips, work on small projects, and help one another navigate the inevitable mistakes that come with learning a new craft. You do not need to own a workshop or have any prior experience to join us. Whether you are looking to build your first bookshelf or just want to spend a Saturday morning learning the difference between a chisel and a gouge, we would love to have you. Come by, pull up a stool, and let us make some sawdust together.
