Overview:
In today’s world, it seems the industry can’t even agree on whether dedicated testers are necessary. This talk demonstrates how testers can use traditional development-oriented processes to rationalize or increase acceptance of testing activities. Ultimately this approach can showcase the talents of testers and increase their influence on the team. What you’ll learn:

• About the presenter:
The presenter is Brendan Connolly who is a Software Design Engineer at Agilysys based out of Santa Barbara, California. He has over 7 years of testing experience in a variety of different roles. He is responsible for creating and executing testing strategies and using his coding powers for developing tooling to help make testers lives easier. He writes tests at all levels from unit and integration tests to API and UI tests. He doesn't believe automation solves all problems, but that being code literate helps testers contribute more effectively to their teams.
