Astrological magic as a practice of healing
Description: In this introductory talk, we will discuss what astrological magic is and how it can be used for growth, healing, and for attracting something we desire. Participants will be introduced to the basic principles of astrological magic: elections and ritual. While a vast subject, special emphasis in this talk will be on how magic can become a healing practice for the practitioner.

Bio:
Elena Lumen, PhD is a traditional astrologer, retired psychologist, and a full-time astrology instructor. Elena is faculty at the International Academy of Astrology, where she teaches horary, predictive, and electional astrology.
In addition to teaching and consulting clients, she hosts astrology practice groups and frequently presents on the topics of classical astrology worldwide.
In 2011, she defended her dissertation on “The value and appeal of astrology as a system of meaning” at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in California. The results of her research were published in NCGR and ISAR magazines.
