Cosmic Connections: Questions About Relationships in Horary by Elena Lumen, PhD

In this updated and widely attended presentation, participants will revisit the essential rules of traditional horary astrology as they apply to relationship questions, with analysis enriched by real-world case studies relevant to the modern era. The session examines how to assess the feelings and intentions of the parties involved, determine the presence of third-party influences, and evaluate the potential for lasting unions. Attention is also given to compatibility in other relationship contexts, including business partnerships and friendships.

Through clear, step-by-step examples, this lecture demonstrates how ancient techniques continue to offer powerful guidance in navigating contemporary questions of love and connection. Designed for both beginners and seasoned practitioners, it aims to refine interpretive skills, strengthen confidence, and deepen professional insight into the dynamics of human relationships.

Bio:
Elena Lumen, PhD is a traditional astrologer, retired psychologist, and a full-time astrology instructor. Elena is faculty at the International Academy of Astrology, where she teaches horary, predictive, and electional astrology.
In addition to teaching and consulting clients, she hosts astrology practice groups and frequently presents on the topics of classical astrology worldwide.
In 2011, she defended her dissertation on “The value and appeal of astrology as a system of meaning” at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in California. The results of her research were published in NCGR and ISAR magazines.
