Science for Hobbyists

We believe Science should be open for all; not just professionals in academia or industry, with obvious exceptions. Members of our community are curious about science and related fields such as engineering and technology, but are not necessarily scientifically trained. We are people from all walks of life who come together to learn and engage in scientific ideas with each other. For our community the lack of money, cognitive ability, and social connections should be no barrier to learning. Only a lack of lack of curiosity should impede learning and the best way to learn is with each other.
