In the time it takes to read this description, millions of neutrinos will zip right through your body. Neutrinos are ultra-small, almost massless, particles that move at nearly the speed of light. Their existence was controversial for many years, but we now have good evidence of them. In this episode, Carroll interviews Prof. Ryan Patterson, a specialist in neutrino research. They discuss not only the latest understanding of neutrinos, but also dark matter and the puzzling question of why there seem to be so few antiparticles in our universe.
