About us
If you’re somebody who believes in Science and understands how it works, our society can be frustrating at this point in time. Because, as we know, there are a lot of people who don’t feel this way. So this group is intentionally for the casual & collegial discussion of scientific ideas.
These might be in the form of articles, new-finding announcements, or essays, from popular sources such as newspapers, magazines, podcasts, blogs, videos, etc. Or they can come from academic-format papers in scientific journals from any field or sub-field (e.g. Nature, Science, ad infinitum). Members are encouraged to suggest topics.
Meetings will take place on the weekend at a café or pub/restaurant, over coffee or a beer.
