Established Wednesday 12 June 2002 and opened Friday 14 June 2002 with first in-person MeetUp activity Tuesday 2 July 2002, The New York City Sci-Fi/Fantasy MeetUp Group is the oldest continuous Science Fiction, Fantasy, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Speculative Fiction and/or adjacent, ancillary, associated, complementary, related and/or supplementary genre, MeetUp Group on MeetUp, as old as MeetUp itself, and likely the oldest still existing of any MeetUp Group.
What happens when you put farscape fans, Stargate fans, star trek and star fans all under the same roof with comic book fans and fantasy fans and even..*gasp*...science fiction writers??????
