Hi there! I’m Margarita, a professional artist and teacher with 14 years of professional education experience. On this special day of Frida Kahlo’s birthday, let’s honor her fearless art by painting our own portraits!

In this workshop, we’ll paint ourselves in Frida’s unique style. Her life story, our own appearance and the nature around will be our inspiration! I’ll guide you with simple gouache techniques - perfect for beginners. While we paint, we’ll explore Frida’s world: her life path, her love for nature, and her iconic eyebrows }:) Afterward, we’ll gather for heartfelt conversation, sharing our creations and inspirations. Come as you are, and let’s paint our stories!

What to bring
• I recommend bringing a picnic blanket or sitting mat, sunglasses, and a water bottle for your comfort.
• Feel free to bring a camera to capture the special moments - we'd love to see your perspective!

• All the materials are provided.
• Please scroll down this event announcement, and you will see a photo showing the exact event location in Parque da Cidade - a small clearing under the maple trees close to the food court. Use this Google Maps Link to find us.
• If you go by public transport, it’s better to leave earlier because buses in Porto often don’t follow the schedule.
• This is a donation-based event, the suggested donation is 20€, but you're welcome to contribute any amount you're comfortable with at the end of the event.
