This beautiful valley is well worth exploring and we will be circumnavigating it. Lovely views of the lakes. It’s steep in a few places so a good level of fitness is required. It’s a 9.30 start so please arrive 10 mins early, so we’re not waiting for anyone.
A pretty walk around Woodchester valley and lake, stopping at the Mansion for a coffee stop for those who want it. Toilets available as well at this break.
There’s also Tinkley Gate café for those who want it at the finish.
We can’t guarantee a time to finish, so allow 3-4 hours to be on the safe side. Toilets available at the start/end. Dogs on leads welcome.
Meet at: Tinkley Gate National Trust car park. Free parking for NT members. Non NT members will have to pay for parking so car sharing would be beneficial.
We will take a maximum of 18 on this walk, including ourselves.
The fee for the walk is £3 payable in advance with all proceeds going to Longfield Hospice Care
