Join us on May 4 to help mow, trim, and clean up the Union Cemetery, a place rich in Pennsylvania and Penn State history, ahead of Memorial Day! We are excited to do our part in preserving history while enjoying some of the best views in Bellefonte.

After cleanup, we will be treated to a walking tour of Pennsylvania history by Connie Cole, a member of the Cemetery’s advisory board. Don’t miss this opportunity to give back and learn about some of the foundational residents of Central PA!

We will end the day enjoying some food and refreshments in one of Bellefonte’s eclectic establishments. Cast your vote in the Google Form for where you’d like to go! *SCYP will NOT cover the cost of food and beverages.

What to bring: Your own work gloves and water bottle. Dress comfortably and in something you don’t mind getting dirty! Closed-toed shoes are recommended.

Where to park: There is free street parking on Lamb Street (one block away), paid parking on Spring Street. Carpooling is encouraged.
