What we’re about
It's pretty straightforward. We're a group of people that like to RUN and have fun! Every Wednesday we meet at a different local bar throughout San Diego, go for a run, and finish back at the bar to cool down and socialize over drinks. If you're in your 21-30s (or just think you can hang) with a fun and outgoing personality looking to meet new people and explore San Diego, then come join us! Even if you show up late, the course will be chalked out on the sidewalk so you know where to go. All of our runs are mapped out on MapMyRun.com so you can follow along via their mobile app!
All running paces are welcome! We have enough people that runners of all paces have someone to run with! Our group consists of runners who are just starting out to people that have qualified for the Boston Marathon! Many of our runners have improved in both distance and pace since they started running with us! Whether you are new to San Diego, looking to meet new friends, or just want to escape the humdrum of everyday life, these Wednesday runs are a great way to unplug. Make sure to follow us on Instagram @sdfunrun!

This week we'll be giving a new neighborhood and shot and will be running out of Pitchers, a sports bar in Rancho Penasquitos.
Please click here for a map of this week's run. Total distance according to Mapmyrun is 4.09 miles. All paces are welcome! The route will also be chalked, so keep an eye out for markings on the sidewalk as you go.
For this week's run we'll start by heading out of the parking lot and running along Carmel Mountain Road and then turning left on Rancho Penasquitos Blvd. We'll then turn onto the 56 bike path and run along that until getting off on Black Mountain Road. We'll take Black Mountain Road to Twin Trails Drive, turning again on Carmel Mountain. We'll follow Carmel Mountain and continue to Sundevil Way, running past the high school before turning on Paseo Cardiel and returning to the bar.
Get lost on the run? Don't feel like running the full distance? No worries, just meet us back at the bar!
