Motorcycle ride to Alpine VFW Post 9578 for breakfast 9am or 10am for non riders

Let's ride our motorcycles or drive your cars to the Alpine VFW Post 9578 for breakfast! The VFW serves a great breakfast and they have a beautiful view from the back patio.

Motorcyclists please identify yourself in the comments and indicate whether or not you are willing to take a passenger. Anyone who would like to ride as a passenger please post in the comments to see if a rider is available and willing to take you. Helmets are required and protective gear is highly recommended. Riders will meet at 8:45am in Chula Vista, leave at 9am and arrive at the VFW by 10am.

Motorcyclists will meet at 8:45am at the Mobil Gas Station at 2210 Otay Lakes Road, Chula Vista 91915. After a quick safety briefing we will leave at 9am. We will take Otay Lakes Road east to Highway 94, from 94 to Honey Springs Road, east (right) to Lyons Valley Road, east (right) to Japatul Road. West (left) on Japatul Road to Tavern Road to the VFW. The ride to the VFW will take approximately an hour or less. We will arrive by 10am.

If you are arriving by car, please go directly to the VFW at 10am. The backroad route is for motorcyclists only!

Riders please ride at your own pace. Do not attempt to ride faster than you are comfortable with, especially if you are carrying a passenger. We will wait for you to catch up if you fall behind. The entire route to the VFW will be on backroads and will have curves and elevation changes as we go through the mountains. The group ride ends after breakfast.
