Come for a Sunday afternoon hike and enjoy some light dinner and good conversation after. On the way back from the Secret Stairs, we will be passing some of La Mesa's finest architectural homes and taking a stroll thru the Village...

The City of La Mesa has several sets of public stairways in the Mt. Nebo/ Windsor Hills area. These stairways were installed many years ago to facilitate foot traffic through the adjacent neighborhoods. La Mesa is one of the few areas in San Diego County that have a system of public stairways. Today, people delight in the discovery of the stairways and take pleasure in facing the challenge of navigating the steep ascents.

This is not a beginner hike as you will be walking up and down several sets of stairs. We will be taking a few detours to see the amazing views of San Diego, from La Mesa to Downtown...

We are meeting in front of Farmers Table Restaurant and leaving for the hike promptly at 4:05p. Please be on time. You will need sunscreen, a shade hat and comfortable walking shoes.
