🦅 Hawk Watch: Up-Close Raptors & Wildlife Experience 🦅
Join us for a fascinating and educational Hawk Watch hosted by the Wildlife Research Institute, Inc. (WRI) and led by Master Falconer Charles Gailband and Dr. Bob Gordon of the San Diego Herpetological Society.

📍 This event takes place at a private residence, not WRI headquarters.
🚪 The property is only open to the public during Hawk Watch events.

• 🦅 Meet falconry and ambassador raptors up close
• 🔭 Learn to spot and identify wild raptors with help from expert biologists and volunteer observers
• 👀 View birds through high-powered professional telescopes
⏰ Program Details
• 🪑 Seated presentation: 1.5–2 hours
• 🚻 Restrooms available
🚗 Optional: self-guided roadside wildlife observation afterward
• Less than 2 miles on paved roads
• Includes viewing a Bald Eagle nest
• Come and go at your own pace
🌧️ Weather Note
• If it rains, the educational program will be held inside the barn
• ⚠️ Falconry flight displays will not occur indoors
