The Chinese New Year Festival is a vibrant and culturally enriching event that celebrates the lunar new year of the horse, with traditional Chinese music, dance, and culinary delights.

Visitors can experience the rich heritage of Chinese culture through various performances, including dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, and classical Chinese music.

The festival also features items for sale in an array of food stalls offering authentic Chinese cuisine, and booths with arts and crafts. There are also educational exhibits that highlight the history and significance of the Chinese New Year.

This festive event invites people of all backgrounds to partake in the joyous celebration and learn more about Chinese traditions.

• 10:30 AM – Group meets in seating area
• 11:00 AM – Chinese New Year Fair opens
• 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Performances, food, crafts, and cultural activities
• 5:00 PM – Event concludes

👥 Guests: Feel free to bring a guest. Have them become member to join in the fun.

Balboa Park now has paid parking in many lots, including those near the International Cottages and the San Diego Zoo area.
