This FREE First Friday event invites you to enjoy the inspiring energy of La Jolla Village as art fills the streets and galleries come alive.

Stroll through 26 galleries and emerging artist pop-ups, each offering something unique and unexpected.

It’s an evening of strolling through la Jolla’s participating art galleries and enjoying art, conversation, sips, snacks, and fresh creative vibes, all set against the charming backdrop of coastal La Jolla.

Every month brings a new theme—and this Earth Day edition is all about connection, expression, and celebrating what makes our world beautiful.

La Jolla has long been known for its iconic and cutting-edge galleries and proudly presents First Friday Art Walks: a free sip, snack, and stroll through several iconic galleries.

This annual event invites you to immerse yourself in a world of artistic wonders, featuring local and renowned artists showcasing their masterpieces.

Experience a diverse array of art forms, from captivating paintings and sculptures to innovative mixed media and stunning photography.

As you wander from gallery to gallery, interact with the artists themselves, gaining insight into their inspirations and techniques.

PARKING:
Street parking in La Jolla is free with time limitations (but very hard to come by). If you do find a spot on the street, keep in mind that enforcement ends at 6:00 PM. For example, if you park in a 2 hour spot any time after 4:00 PM you are good to go for the evening.

Uber, Lyft and other ride-sharing options are recommended.
