This course introduces the fundamentals of smart logistics, focusing on how goods and people move efficiently across borders and through modern supply chains. Students learn how emerging technologies such as data analytics, tracking systems, and automation are transforming logistics operations and improving speed, visibility, and coordination.

The course also explores the fundamental role of policies, regulations, and data in shaping logistics systems, including how access to information can affect fairness and opportunity across different communities and businesses.
