This meetup is the first in our SSSummer series. The S's stand for Security, Servers, and Scalability. This meetup will be focused on Security.

Andrew Sorensen will be speaking about "Web Security: What's wrong, and how the bad guys can break your website.". Specifically, he'll be talking about things like:

What are the common security issues, what risks are involved, and how easy are they to find/exploit. How to use tools to find and exploit security issues. How to spot security flaws in code, and how to avoid creating new ones. How to secure your server/hosting environment. We also have a door prize that we will raffle off for those who attend.
