Speakers: Dawn Parzych Talk Title: Battle of the APIs Performance, availability, and reliability are three pillars to ensuring services meet users expectations. Nobody likes waiting for a response, or worse getting an error. This talk will review results from benchmarking a variety of APIs from different geographies. Are there winners or losers? Are there any trends or standards that can be established as best practices based on the results? Bio Dawn Parzych (@dparzych) is a Director at Catchpoint ( Prior to entering the tech field, Dawn obtained a masters degree in Psychology. She enjoys researching, writing and speaking about the intersection of technology and psychology with a focus on performance, bias, and culture.
