Bike Ride RAIN OR SHINE PCC to Golden Gardens!

This is a totally flat terrain, easy ride, from PCC in Fremont to Golden Gardens. (You can even drive to PCC and leave your car, Sunday street parking is free) All on a bike trail. We’ll ride as a group (we will not drop anyone!) We leave PCC (rolling out) PROMPTLY AT 10:30am and then we go to our friend Bianca’s potluck beach party at Golden Gardens. She only has the spot for a couple of hours so we do need to arrive at Golden Gardens by 11am.

This can be an all grown-up ride, or bring your family. Please bring some food or drinks to share, maybe a blanket to sit on and lay on the beach, to the hardcore, strap that sunshade tent to your bike! Please come by at 10:00 am so we can go over group ride safety stuff and introduce each other. Drink some coffee, eat some snacks!

About me leading the ride:
I used to be a very serious bike commuter/occasional biking camper/family group ride participant. I’ve begrudgingly ridden Chilly Hilly and had fantasies of STP. I didn’t even own a car in Seattle the first six years I lived here. I’ve owned 3 e-cargo bikes, two bromptons, a series of road and mountain bikes, then I got into a bike accident, then some illness stuff, and I haven’t ridden in years. I don’t believe you need to be a stinky bike guy wearing fancy bike clothes or have a $5000 bike, or go a million miles an hour to be a bike enthusiast.
