We're heading out Sunday, January 18 to the 4 p.m. showing of, "The Testament of Ann Lee," which SIFF describes as a "bold colonial-era musical" from the co-writer of The Brutalist.

Indiewire declares:
"The ultimate brilliance of Fastvold’s movie... is that it has the courage to reimagine the essence of belonging itself; to see it not as something we find, but rather as something that we create together."
Writes Variety:
"The Testament of Ann Lee is rich in agnostic questioning and bemused human interest, but at such radiant peaks, Fastvold makes believers of us all."
We'll meet at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in the Uptown lobby before the 4 p.m. film. Following the final credits completion, we'll reconvene in the lobby, with a bathroom break. Then, we'll get a bite to eat and discuss the movie. Hope to see you there!
