"Swan Lake" by Grand Kyiv Ballet at McCaw Hall (European ballet)

Details
This is a rare opportunity to see European ballet dancing in Seattle. I believe that part of the proceeds will go towards supporting the arts in Ukraine. Swan Lake is considered the world's most beautiful ballet, perhaps partly because of Tchaikovsky's immortal music, which was actually considered undanceable at the time. Please note that my guess is that the music here will be a recording, not a live orchestra. Here is the description from the McCaw Hall website:
"Swan Lake is a ballet masterpiece that tells the story of a prince who falls in love with a beautiful swan princess under a spell. The ballet is renowned for its stunning choreography, intricate set design, and Tchaikovsky's captivating music. Its themes of love, sacrifice, and redemption continue to resonate with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, making it a timeless classic that has endured for more than a century.
"This timeless tale of love and magic will be brought to life by the finest dancers of the Ukrainian National Opera and Ballet Theater. The graceful movements of the dancers will transport audiences to a world of enchantment and wonder."
There is only one performance in Seattle. We will meet before the performance at 6:30 pm and during intermission. The ballet begins at 7 pm.
Ticket prices begin at $61 and are very similar in price range as Pacific Northwest Ballet. The link to buy tickets goes to Ticketmaster, and be warned that they add on several fees! Here is the link to the event and to buy tickets online. As of the end of April, there were lots of good seats available.
