## DCC - Old style combat, new style play
WORLD INFORMATION:
Welcome to the post-war world of Warillary. For millennia, this world was ruled by Giants from the Top of the World in their impenetrable Shell valley, content to send decrees and lighting upon those that displeased them...
They split the world into three... Giants at the Top, cruel and vindictive. Elves/dragons/magic in the Upper World, with monarchies, castles, clerics and wizards. Humans, goblins, monsters and dirt resided in the Lower World, occupying the worst land.
50 years ago Giants decided ruling from on high wasn't enough. They invaded the Upper World. For 20 years they progressed southward, conquering the magical world with flying castles, enslaved dragons and mighty magics.
At the same time, the so-called Lower World was going through an industrial revolution, content to let the Upper World be crushed under Giant feet... Until they invaded the Lower World.
Needless to say, slow moving flying castles are pretty vulnerable to industrial weaponry. The Lower World pushed the Giants back. First to the borders of the Upper World, then into the Upper World, finally to the very gates of the Giants impenetrable Shell Valley.
Instead of a brutal invasion that could have lasted centuries, the Giants put up a magic shield, then promptly disappeared. Explorers found a valley that hadn't seen Giant rule or the outside world for thousands of years... but filled with their ruined nation.
Travel through the ruins of a fantasy world, sail across eldritch seas, climb the tallest mountain in creation. Dungeon Crawl Classics offers the numerical crunch of the old school dungeon crawl, updated with the squish of a modern D20 system. Create a character in a fraction of the time and encounter 200% as much adventure!

What is this?
This is an ongoing campaign set in a world of my own creation, we use custom build and pre-made adventures. Each week is either a continuation of a specific adventure module or a new one, feel free to drop in and out.
What system is this?
DCC - Dungeon Crawl Classics
Similar to fifth edition DND, but with fewer rules and more random tables. For example, magic spells have different results based on your rolls as the caster.
Are there home rules?
Yup, but the only bit that matters is armor, its different, and better in a setting with guns. Instead of armor increasing your AC, it gives you damage soak.
Im a new player, what can i do before showing up?
Hello! Depending on the time you have the easy answer is to show up 1/2 hour early, we can build you a character or help you choose from some pre-made characters.
