About us
We are a passionate community of road cyclists who believe that the best rides are measured in smiles and shared stories rather than miles, elevation gain, and average speeds. Whether you are dusting off your road bike or log hundreds of miles a month, our group is built around three core values:
Fun First: We ride to enjoy the open road, soak in the views, and recharge. From weekend coffee spins to spirited group rides, our focus is always on camaraderie, encouragement, and enjoying the ride together.
Safety Always: Every rider’s well-being is our top priority. We ride with mutual respect, follow group riding etiquette, communicate hazards clearly, and obey traffic laws. We stick together, ensure no one gets left behind, and support each other every mile of the way.
Health & Wellness: Cycling is our favorite outdoor activity for building physical fitness, boosting mental clarity, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We celebrate personal goals, consistent progress, and the simple joy of moving outdoors. Grab your helmet, fill your bottles, and join us for the next ride!
Mandatory Participant Agreement & Liability Waiver
By joining this Meetup.com group and participating in its rides, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of its following waiver:
- Inherent Risks of Cycling: You acknowledge that cycling on public roads and trails carries inherent risks, including collisions with motor vehicles, pedestrian traffic, other cyclists, or road hazards (e.g., potholes, gravel, railroad tracks), as well as equipment failure and physical exertion. You voluntarily assume all associated risks.
- Mandatory Gear & Traffic Laws: Helmets are strictly required at all times while on the bike. You agree to obey all local traffic laws, signals, and posted signs, and to ride predictably and safely within the group.
- Personal Responsibility & Equipment: You are solely responsible for ensuring your bicycle is in safe, working mechanical condition prior to the ride. You are responsible for your own physical fitness, navigation, and personal safety.
- Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release the group organizers, ride leaders, and fellow members from any liability, claims, or demands arising out of injury, property damage, or loss sustained during or in connection with this event.
- Emergency Care: In the event of an accident or medical emergency, you consent to receive necessary emergency medical treatment and assume full financial responsibility for all associated costs.
