This interactive cocktail party brings entertainment, escapism, art, and education to the otherwise typical cocktail party. Guests take turns preparing beverages of their choosing, whether it be a favorite, a new discovery, or something lingering in a recipe box. Mocktails are encouraged!

For this "bout" of Cocktail Fight Club, we turn to the warm, sunny flavors of citrus. Like last year's, bring a favorite, or a twist on a classic, or your perfected versions of a classic such as a Manhattan or Ramos Gin Fizz. They can be concoctions found in a newspaper, or an aunt's take on Regent's Punch, or a drink seen on a TV show--whatever turns your crank! You could even present a sampler of the Sidecar vs Lemon Drop, or Screwdriver vs the Greyhound, or KamiKazi vs Margarita.

Attending couples are asked to:

1) post the specialty cocktail/punch recipe in the Comments section of this Meetup, and
2) bring to the event enough of all the drink ingredients to make at least 5 servings of their drink. (Yes, you get to take home your leftover bottles.)
--Each couple will make their drink at the hosts' bar, serve it up to attendees, and bask in the glory of their liquid concoction.
--Practice is encouraged!
--Couples can also bring a snack that particularly complements their drink.

Rich and John will supply
-ice,
-simple syrup,
-glassware (martini, zombie, flutes, rocks, cordial, wine),
-strainers,
-citrus juicers,
-reamers,
-muddlers,
-zesters,
-Boston shakers
and some appetizers.

It sounds like a lot of alcohol, but couples will find that some drinks just aren’t to their taste. Most will share a drink, and those who don’t, regret it. Just saying: know your limit.

For transportation to and from the event, Uber, Lyft, ReachNowRide, and taxis are suggested as is eating prior to the event.

Due to interactive nature of the event, space is limited. If you can't make it after RSVPing, please change it so wait-listed members may attend.

It is a shoe-free house, so bring your bunny slippers!
