What we’re about
Green Lake is one of the most popular destinations for urban runnings in the Seattle area. The Seattle Green Lake Running Group was created with the intent of creating a running community that supports and encourages a healthy and active lifestyle through group events and participation. Our goal is to try and have something for everyone and the more runners that attend events the better chance that there will be running buddies for all. Whether you're looking to increase your cardiovascular endurance, meet some new exercise buddies or have training partners for your next race you've come to the right place.
Group Waiver:
I know that running and participating in SGLRG events are potentially hazardous activities. I should not participate in group activities unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running and participating in SGLRG events including but not limiting to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the various courses and routes, and such risk being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application for membership, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Seattle Green Lake Running Group, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in these group activities even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the person named in this waiver. I further grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of these events and activities for any legitimate purpose.

Saturday Morning Rise & Shine- Miracle on Westlake Run! ✨
South Lake Union Park, South Lake Union, Near Armory & Center for Wooden Boats, Seattle, WA, USEvery Saturday morning we have a nice tradition of getting together and starting our day with a group run. Each week participants RSVP, post their goal distance and pace in the comments

Come find us at 7am every Saturday morning as we organize into distance and pace groups and review the route they are running each week.
