Welcome to Monday Evening Track (MET)!

Do you need a change of pace? Want to improve your running speed? Missing that final kick during a race? Just want a great workout? MET is for you!! The goal is to give runners the tools and a safe and friendly environment that enables them pursue the running speed of their dream.

Runners of all speeds, levels and abilities are encouraged to join. You'll find lots of people running different paces, and if the workout is too much for where you are, we are always happy to customize it for you. You're always totally welcome to come and do your own thing afterwards!

What to Expect at the Event
Typically this is how we roll starting at 6:30pm:

  • warmup jog and drills - 20 mins
  • Welcome runners, explain/discuss the workout for the day- 10 mins
  • workout/intervals - 30-45 mins
  • cooldown jog - 5-10 mins
  • Optional Core workout (depending on the weather)

After the run, we always head over to Kidd Valley to get some milkshakes or food and socialize, it's a great time to make some friends!

How to get there
The track is the dirt track in Lower Woodland Park. To find us, Google "Lower Woodland - Soccer Field #7". The track is around this soccer field. We usually hangout by the bleachers/benches on the north side of the soccer field for a few minutes before we get started.
